​Team Rosters
1. Team roster must be submitted 5 minutes prior to each game. Team roster is limited to 10 players. If your team is a part of a program that is sending more than one team, no player is allowed to play for more than one team. 
2. Proof of age for each player may be required prior to the start of you first game.
3. All teams must wear basketball jerseys/shirts during their games. Each jersey/shirt must have the same color and they must have numbers.
4. Basketball shoes must be worn.
5. All jewelry must be removed. Necklaces, earrings and watches cannot be worn during the game.
6. The team coaches are entirely responsible to make sure that their players fully understand tournament rules and regulations.
7. Each participating team must have an adult coach on the bench at all times.
Entry Fee
The deadline for the entry fee of  is due by tournament registration deadline. Online payments only, Entry fees are nonrefundable.  Tournaments canceled due to inclement weather conditions, teams will receive a future tournament voucher. Teams will not be permitted to participate until all fees have been paid.

Late Entry Fee

Registration past deadline will be charged a late fee of $25.00    
Playing Rules
*1st-2nd Grade will play on 8 ft. goals and 27.5 basketball. Free Throws will be at first has from the regulation free throw line. 
*3rd-8th Grade will play on 10 ft. goals and  28.5 basketball.

1. Game Clock: Games will consist of two 20-minute halves (running clock). The clock will stop on all
fouls and violations during the last two minutes of the Second Half ONLY.
A. The clock will not stop if a team is ahead by 20 points or more. B. Pre-game warm-up time will depend on
the amount of time left before the scheduled start time your team’s game.  C. Games will be played with 3 
minute half time.

2. Overtime:   OT: 2-min. Stop Clock , 2OT:2 -min. Stop Clock 3OT: 1 minute 1st basket wins.
3. Time Outs:  Each team will be given four time-outs (4- 45 sec.). In case of overtime, one 45 sec. time out ONLY.
4. Grace Period: A seven-minute grace period will be allowed for tardiness and then if a team does not
have five players to start the game, the game clock will start.  3 minutes will be allowed for a team to
present five players to start.  a forfeit will be declared.

5. Team Fouls:  Players will be given five fouls per game. Bonus shots will be given after the seventh team foul,
and the team will be in double bonus after the tenth team foul, per half.
6. Player Technical Fouls :  All technical fouls will count as a personal foul.  A. Players who receives a technical foul
must sit out of the game for three minutes before they will be allowed back into the game. B. If a player
receives a second technical foul during the same game, the player will be dis-qualified from the tournament.
7. Coach Technical Fouls  :  A. Once a coach receives a technical foul, they must remain seated rest of the game, except to call a time-out B.. If a coach receives a 2nd technical foul in the same game, they will be disqualified from the game. C. If a Coach receives their 3rd technical foul of the tournament, they are disqualified from the tournament. 
8. 3-Pointers: High School three-point line will be utilized in all games (19’ line). 
9. Pressing:  Full court pressing is allowed for the fifth/sixth grade divisions only; however, please display good
sportsmanship when there is 20 points or more lead.
10. Tie Breaker:  In the event two teams have the same record going into bracket (championship
game/round robin) play, we will determine the tiebreaker by point differential (+15 or -15 is the cap). If
the points allowed are the same, we will determine the tie breaker by head-to-head match-up.
Reminder:  A. Please bring your own basketballs to warm-up with. KYBT will provide the game ball.
B. Teams need  to have an adult volunteer to work scoreboard or scorebook.
Conduct
1. All participants, coaches and spectators shall refrain from using profanity or verbal abuse towards
other players, coaches, spectators, referees and the tournament staff.
2. This is a Drug and Alcohol Free Event. No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed on the premises. Any coach or player(s) engaged in the use of alcohol or drugs will be disqualified from further participation in the tournament.
3. Team coaches will be responsible for the conduct of their players. Teams and spectators shall abide by the tournament and facility rules and regulations.
4. The Tournament Director, host facility and the tournament staff are not responsible for any personal items that are left behind, lost or stolen.
Fighting
​1. Fighting is an attempt to strike an opponent with the arms, hands, legs, feet or a combative
action by one or more players, a coach, or other team personnel.
2. Any member or team personnel who participates in a fight shall be immediately suspended
from the game for the duration to be determined by the Tournament Director and their
Associates. Length of suspension will be assessed on an individual basis.
3. Let it be known that spectators and visitors who too elect to involve themselves in a fight during
a game, will be suspended from the facility for a length of time to be determined by the
Tournament Director and their Associates.
4. Should any team, player(s) or coach be disqualified from tournament play, there will be no
refunds.
Protest Procedure
1. Only the opposing teams coach who is playing the scheduled game can protest a player’s eligibility.
Player eligibility protest must be taken to the scorer’s table before the start of the game.
Documentation/proof must be presented upon request. If the coach cannot provide proper proof of age
for their player(s) being protested, then player(s) will not be allowed to participate until proof is
provided.

2. The game will not be stopped to handle the protest. If the player(s) show up late and the opposing
teams coach wants to protest the player(s). That protest will take place at half time only. If the player(s)
being protested at half time cannot provide proper proof of age, then the player(s) must sit until proof
can be provided and that team will be charged with a technical foul. As a result, the opposing team will
get two free throws and the ball.
Tournament Director
​The Tournament Director has the right to alter rules, bylaws and bracket structure to meet the needs of all participants.
